I. Land/Space requirements

It is very important to know where is your future project. You can use a various ways/devices to understand your exact coordinates. GPS device is the easiest and most common and precise method.  In a later stage you are going to need those coordinates so we can make a very precise assumptions about how much Radiation/m² and how much production wise. It is very important for future investment plans.
It is usually done by the first visit at the place. At that time a lot of important checks needs to be done, like:
-rientation,
-tilt,
-available  area,
-type  of mounting,
-shading and so on
The module selection is based on all of those checks mentioned above. You can make a rough determination how many modules can be used at the area you selected. Once you know the modules technical specification you can determine everything else and you can size the PV system.
The general rule to evaluate how much power you can place in a certain land/space is:
1kWp =  approximately 10m² PV area
