Like all other generating sources of electricity, photovoltaic systems also require a fuel in order to generate electricity. The name is combination of the Greek word “PHOTO” which means light and “VOLTAIC” which means electric, the fuel needed for this generating system is the sinlight from the Sun. Thus the desighner of photovoltaic systems need to know how much or what amount of sunlight exist to a certain area. You can look at steps section for more details.

Long before USA knew we were headed for trouble because of the dependence on foreign oil supplies. The USA will never prosper again until they totally free themselves from  the dependency on oil from the terrorist countries in the Middle East.  Oil is literally a dinosaur technology and yet we continue to subsidize this archaic fuel supply when we should be funding research and production improvements in renewable energy source systems - especially solar!
